Full-Grain Leather, Slim Profile

The Wafaa sleeve starts with a single cut of full-grain leather — the same grade used in our passport holders and desk mats. It is finished on the exterior with a light wax polish that repels minor moisture and gives the surface a subtle, matte sheen that deepens with age.

The interior is lined with ultra-soft microsuede. This does two things: it cushions the device against impact and it does not leave marks or residue on the device's finish — critical for aluminum-bodied laptops and tablets.

The sleeve itself is slim. We designed it around the device, not around extra features. There are no external pockets, no handles, no clips. This is a protective case, not a bag. It is the layer that goes inside your bag, between your work and the world.

Precision Sizing

A sleeve that is too large lets the device shift. A sleeve that is too small stresses the seams every time you insert or remove the device.

Wafaa sleeves are offered in exact sizing — 13 inch, 14 inch, and 15 inch — with tolerances designed for the most common screen sizes in each category. The opening is cut on a slight angle so the device slides in at a natural angle without forcing the mouth of the sleeve open wider than necessary.

The magnetic closure keeps the sleeve shut in a bag without the snag risk of a zip.

The Wear Pattern

On the first day, a Wafaa sleeve is stiff and slightly formal. By the third month, it has conformed to the shape of the device inside it. The corners soften. The leather at the opening develops a faint crease — the record of how many times you have reached in and pulled out your work.

Care and Longevity

Condition the exterior once or twice a year with a neutral leather conditioner. If the sleeve gets wet, allow it to dry naturally — away from direct heat, which can crack the leather at the fold.

The microsuede interior can be wiped with a damp cloth. Do not submerge.

With reasonable care, a Wafaa sleeve outlasts two or three device generations. By the time you retire it, it will have carried more work than most accessories ever see.
